8 Months Old (yesterday)oops!!!
I just want to do a quick post...I'm horrible at this blogging stuff. Andrew & Joseph are 8 months old as of yesterday...where did my little babies go?? I want the little, tiny, sleep on my chest babies back. Don't get me wrong I'm glad my boys are growing and are healthy...I just miss the little babies they once where.

Andrew:
Weight: 17 Lbs 7oz (February 9th)
Height: 27"
Andrew loves to scoot all around, he crawls backwards, and rolls everywhere. He loves to eat and his favorites are green beans, peas, macaroni beef veggies, peaches, pears, and grilled cheese. Andrew can say "mama", "dada", and "baba" (bottle). Andrew is finally sleeping thru the night!!! This took him much longer than his brother. He's still hard to put to sleep at night but once he's down he's down for the count.

Joseph:
Weight: 17 Lbs even
Height: 28"
Joseph has 2 teeth!! Yes he was the first to pop teeth. Joseph loves to play peek-a-boo, read books with mommy, he can roll where he wants, and supposedly can get up on his hands and knees and rock...I have yet to witness this. Joseph has finally found love in foods...when we first started solids he wasn't to crazy about eating. But now he sometimes out eats Andrew..LOL. His favorites are squash, sweet potato, pears, apples, and banana.
Both:
Diaper Size: 3
Clothes: 12 Months and almost ready for the next size in certain brands
This past Sunday (2/27) they had their first try of pasta and meatball and black olives. They loved it all and wanted more black olives they had 4 olives between the 2 of them. They also are starting to eat more and more table foods instead of purees. They have had pasta, grilled cheese, peaches sliced, mango sliced, a variety of veggies from my plate, and regular macaroni and cheese.
About a month ago we stop using the baby bath tub and got them bath rings to sit in. Bath time goes so much faster and they LOVE the bathrings and sitting up in the tub.

Food Diaries
At about 3.5 months I started the boys on cereal... They were drinking almost 38 - 40++ oz of formula daily and getting up at least once at night for more formula. I asked my mom when did she start me and my brothers on solids and she said around this time. And I feel that all these food allergies we have no a days is from not starting solids soon enough... I mean I won't give them peanuts or honey till at least 1 yrs old but fruits and veggies...give me a break. At their 4 month appt I asked the doctor if I could start cereal and he gave the "OK"...so I started 2 weeks early...oops.
Then about 2 weeks after starting them on cereal I decided I would try some veggies with them...THEY LOVED IT!!! We started with green beans first, then sweet potato, and then finally butternut squash. Then we started the fruits...banana, pears, and applesauce. I've made all of the veggie purees myself but not the fruits. I know how to cook vegetables, but how do you know you didn't overcook fruit??? And it goes bad very quickly, especially banana...so it's just easier to buy the fruit from Gerber. We've also tried carrot, not a fan yet.
Here are some photo's from their eating....
